Today’s drive was about 640 miles. I got to Perrysburg, Ohio about 4pm and if I had known that the drive was going to be so good and virtually traffic free I could have driven for another couple of hours (an additional 100 miles). However, after going to dinner and the drive back to the hotel I am really glad I stopped here.
Perrysburg is so stereotypically a pretty all-american town/city (pop 25,000). Driving from my hotel to Perrysburgers (restaurant) family owned for about 70 years I passed one after another of attractive and beautifully landscaped homes. No matter how big or small they were, they all looked inviting. I have to check with zillow to see prices. Average income here is about $110K. I couldn’t stop to get pix.
The burger
itself was perfectly cooked medium-rare and the unlimited fries which are
freshly cut were nice and crispy.
On my way back to the hotel I went a different way and stumbled upon a car show
on one of the school grounds.
There
were close to 200 cars. No admission so I walked around and took some pictures.

Tomorrow it’s a drive to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to have dinner with cousin
