So today is just doing the 650 mile drive to Pensacola, Florida. No time for any sightseeing. I just want to get checked into the hotel, run for another night of Golden Corral for dinner and finally get back to my hotel and watch what hopefully will be the Knicks winning game 5 and with it the NBA championship.

behind the attached picture.
When I stopped at this gas station/convenience
store that was their “mascot” in front.
The picture was warranted because a woman was
walking with her 4-5 year old son into the store. She was
responding to her little boy who had just asked, “Mommy, why does that
cow have the same things hanging like daddy has on the back of his
truck?”
Mom’s answer, “Because that’s
a boy cow and daddy has a boy truck.”
Texas mentality.
Another observation from the road... Mississippi does have the
very nicest landscaped interstates.
Tomorrow it’s on to Trinity, Florida to visit
with Dawn, Neil and Dawn’s Aunt Carol. If you're keeping score as of
day's end I've driven about 6,500 miles.
Now it’s watching the Knick game. Well as you all know by now the Knicks won the game and the championship. It was the first time they did that since 1973.
